1.4 the challenge of practicum
·
- · No personal transportation
We have to walk every day from the dorm to school, and vice versa. It was exhausted yet I enjoyed my experience living overseas so much. That what makes me healthier and stronger and I am grateful.
- · Lack of classroom management skill
There were too many students in one class: 42 students. That was the biggest class I have ever had so far while teaching. Having positive advice from the other teachers helped me to overcome it.
1.5 overall impression
- · Given the opportunities to learn, grow and wonder the new world that I once only knew from the screen (chance to go abroad)
- · Building international network & friendship
- · Finding out my true self – strengths & weaknesses
- · Improving my both hard & soft skills
- · Learning something I cannot get at school
- · Both learning and traveling (for 70% free!)
1.6 suggestion for further improvement
Making sure of all things to each party – sending university, receiving university and school, and the student teacher – in advance (activities, terms & conditions, teaching schedule, requirements of the programs, etc.)
